Monique Langlais Ford
about me.
I am a visual artist with paintings that primarily focus on large-scale commissioned portraits of women. My other works include watercolor abstract paintings and collage, which I exhibit in art galleries and teach in workshops. As a Curator, I design and implement exhibitions with interactive programs. In the field of performing arts, I oversee all phases of production for film and television.
I received my Master of Fine Arts Degree in painting from Pratt Institute and Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in painting, drawing and photography from Plattsburgh State University. I am an exhibiting artist and actively contribute to my local arts community in my role as Exhibition Committee Chair on the Advisory Board of the Katonah Museum Artists' Association.
