Learn the art of Photo Transfer
The art of photo transfer has been around for 200 years. Used in experimental techniques from a photo-engraved printing plate, prior to the emergence of fine art photography. There are many different approaches in our contemporary landscape incorporating photo transfer. join me to expand your skills using this creative approach to enhancing your photos by incorporating fine arts processes bringing your photos and your memories to a whole new level.
Photo Transfer 101

Level 1: Beginner. No experience necessary.
Learn the basic steps to create a stunning photo transfer. Whether you have any basic experience creating photo transfers or have no experience creating photo transfers, this workshop is designed for you. In this small group workshop, you will learn my five key steps needed to build your proficiency in the art of photo transfer. We will create one photo transfer.
Materials required: Participants need to bring three (3) photos that can be black and white or color and up to 8.5 x 11 inches per image. Both laser and inkjet printed photos work but I prefer laser images used in this workshop. Images that are most successful have a good amount of contrast and sense of light!
Dates: Tuesday June 17 or Tuesday June 24

Photo Transfer 102

Level 2: Intermediate. Photo Transfer 101 or other basic experience is suggested.
Take the basic steps you learned in Photo Transfer 101 and apply them to the next level. In this small group workshop, you will learn how to apply my key techniques to expand your proficiency in the art of phot transfer. We will create two photo transfers.
Materials required: Participants need to bring four (4) photos that can be black and white or color and up to 8.5 x 11 inches per image
Date: Tuesday July 15 or Thursday July 17
Time: 6:30-8:00pm
Duration: 1.5 hours

Photo Transfer 103

Level 3: Advanced. Photo Transfer 101, 102 or other experience is suggested.
Take your skills in photo transfer to the next level. In this small group workshop, you will learn how to apply my key techniques to perfect your proficiency in the art of photo transfer by using a variety of additional materials in the process! We will create three (3) photo transfers.
Materials required: Participants need to bring five (5) photos that can be black and white or color and up to 8.5 x 11 inches per image
Date: Tuesday July 29 or Thursday July 31
Time: 6:00 - 8:00pm
Duration: 2.0 hours
